Cerrone - he of 'Supernature' fame - has a new album out soon and you can listen to bits of it in advance on his Myspace page.

However, I ought to point out that I'm at work at the moment, so I can't listen to it yet and thus can't vouch for whether it's good or shite!

(Semi-interesting pop triv: The female singers on 'Supernature' were Nina Hagen and Lene Lovich!)

Well, that's what I've read/been told. Lovich definitely wrote the lyrics for it and she's buddies with Hagen, so I'm taking it at face value.

Being a little vacuous here, but... Nina Hagen is my 'perfect woman', I think. Stunningly beautiful, somewhat odd and, as you say, really nice too.

Now just don't go and tell me you've touched tongues with her too!

I always wanted to post a thread about the greatest songs with the most idiotic concepts.

Obviously a song about feeding animals to the point they got so fat that they go on a rampage would top that list. And yes, even God was on their side.

I downloaded a Cerrone album recently and was left seriously cold by it.

I usually lap that sort of stuff up. A major let-down.
