The Prime Minister has just announced at Question Time in the House that he has asked (instructed? can he do that?) the English Cricket Board not to allow Zimbabwe to tour next year, and has similarly asked the ICC to ensure Zimbabwe are not invited to the Twenty-20 World Cup scheduled for England next summer. The latter could result in the ICC taking the tournament away from England, in which case the question would be asked should England compete in a rearranged event.
