Ooh, some big results - Green Star fail to beat East Village, and now must win at Hornville next week to realistically have a shot of the title repeat. Bad week for Steaua and Hapoel and their situation now looks dire.

In the second division a very important defeat for Vladikavkaz Noj sets up a winner takes all promotion clash next Monday at Kate Bush (in Kate Bush?)

Yay!

Now all I've got to do is beat the team who created eleven chances against me last time we met.

Three down with 11 minutes to go, I suppose I can't complain about a 3-3 draw. Football is tight!

A home draw should suffice, HORN.

Yeah, it's over, I think... Hornville should have a 3 point lead, and now my team is totally cold.

Nah, if we draw then I lose, as seems likely, at Mortlake, Matej just has to win his gimmee game against the ailing Underdogs of War.

What's happened to Spence? He's not logged on in weeks. Does he still post on the MB?

That result yesterday was rubbish. Congratulations to Boys Town though, who are on one hell of a roll.

Fine comeback from Kate Bush too, I'm scared of our winner takes all game. I'm going to just miss out again I think.

In OTF Green Star snatch the initiative back by winning at Hornville. The Idiots look to have let 3rd place slip away. At the bottom Hapoel are gone, Steau teeter on the brink.

Hornville - Green Star F-Burg 0 - 2 (0 - 1)
Puolimatkan - Steaua Bridge 1 - 2 (0 - 0)
Csiki Monkeys - Hapoel Oxford 1 - 0 (1 - 0)
Heffron Hotspur - 1927 5 - 0 (4 - 0)
East Village Idiots - Mortlake Dodgers 3 - 2 (2 - 0)
Cardiff Dragons - Underdogs of War 5 - 0 (2 - 0)

In Division 1 Kate Bush comes out on top versus Noj in the promotion 6-pointer, though both teams remain in the hunt.

Kate Bush Select XI - Vladikavkaz Noj 1 - 0 (0 - 0)
Purple Nasties - Titos Leg 4 - 0 (2 - 0)
Fancy Brigade - U Street Gunners 3 - 0 (2 - 0)
Suffragette City - AFC Phoebe 4 - 3 (1 - 3)
Ivor the engine x1 - Boys Town F.C. 1 - 3 (0 - 2)

Amazing. 2-0 down after 6 minutes, 3-0 down after half an hour, and we managed to win 4-3.

Congratulations, you fictional heroes.

A staggering 14 performance from Isaac Bradley all but gives Green Star the title. Hornville's strikers didn't play well but it probably wouldn't have made any difference if they had.

Crap. An own goal five minutes from time. Still, it seems as if Kate Bush deserved it overall.

There's always next season...

AFC Phoebe's loss has left it open for Vladikavkaz, if they can just manage a big win in the last weekend.

My sympathies Noj, that's a rough way to lose it. We still need to win our last one to be sure though.

Looks like the long awaited adhoc-noj clash will have to wait another season.

(Not long awaited by many, I'll grant you, but in very specific parts of Miercurea Ciuc and Ashby de la Zouch it has been much hoped-for)
