No, I do sympathise as both my best midfielders were crocked last week. The two games a week schedule might mean I need to add to my strength in depth.

I've never found "bruise" to be all that useful. It never really worked for me. Then again, the Beachcombers don't believe in draws--it's all or nothing.

HOORAY! Another 5-0 to the idiots, and my cool as ice keeper scored a penalty, and had one missed in front of him. Ivor's bruising only hypodermic needle injured a midfielder this week.

OTF
In OTF, the flaming dodgers hold Cardiff to remain on top. While the Beachcombers are believed to still be trying to talk Luther Dawson out of retirement.

Beachcombers Utd - Puolimatkan 1 - 3 (0 - 1)
AFC Phoebe - 1927 1 - 4 (0 - 2)
Underdogs of War - Knights who say Ni 3 - 0 (0 - 0)
Cardiff Dragons - Mortlake Dodgers 3 - 3 (1 - 1)
Heffron Hotspur - Green Star F-Burg 0 - 1 (0 - 1)

Division 1

Obviously, news of the day is Quincy Freeman's first goal, as a 19 year old goalkeeper. East Village Idiots, Steaua Bridge and Hornville maintain 100% records (Hornville with a game in hand). Oxford Nil missed a hatful of chances and still won 4-1.

Essen Clarets - Forest Hill Fire 0 - 2 (0 - 1)
Llantwit Major FC - Hornville 0 - 3 (0 - 1)
East Village Idiots - Ivor the engine x1 5 - 0 (4 - 0)
Oxford Nil - Wildridings 4 - 1 (0 - 0)
U Street Gunners - Steaua Bridge 1 - 2 (0 - 1)

By the way, AFC Phoebe's splashing of the cash makes them the strongest OTF team on paper. One has to wonder about 1927's total domination in the last game then.

The Dodgers continue to prove the strength of the lower leagues in mixing it with the OTF elite.

Division 1 is already shaping up into a tight battle at the top. The idiots 7-1 win got them a grand total of zero xpert eleven players.

The Dodgers only have three X11 appearances - two for the keeper - in five games, despite twatting all and sundry so far. There's no stars in this team. Eleven heroes every week. None of your 8+-skilled primadonnas.

It can't last.

Bah... I knew I should have tweaked the re-structure to keep Dodgers away from the top.

Once again I've gone walkabout and forgot about this, and found out I won twice in a row. Now I see what I've been doing wrong before--trying to win.

Wildridings (div 1) have an extraordinarily young side. Sunday's match with Hornville will literally be old men against boys.
