In your face, Matej! I may have had to offer my team a bribe equating to roughly a season's worth of spending in order to get it though...

Yeah, and obviously bribe the ref and one of my defenders (who scored the own goal) as well.

Bah. Still, five point lead.

League is very interesting and active at the moment. Division 1 is pretty competitive, and there really aren't any deadwood teams.

As long as a certain team doesn't run away with the league title, should be a good season.

Fancy Brigade take a commanding lead at the top.

Great stuff from Puolimatkan - despite losing the tactical guessing game, and despite Bradley playing even better than normal.

I'm getting a little paranoid about Green Star's offensive prowess so far. I hope it lasts but...

I'm a little paranoid about my goal-scoring prowess too. 12 in ten games. Half have come from one guy (suspended for the next game).

No need to be too paranoid, Matej - Green Star only put one past the Dodgers' three-man defence even when its strongest player went off injured.

East Village Idiots 2-0 Puolimatkan
1927 5-3 Hapoel Oxford
Heffron Hotspur 4-0 Underdogs of War
Cardiff Dragons 2-0 Steaua Bridge
Hornville 1-1 Csiki Monkeys
Mortlake Dodgers 2-1 Green Star F-Burg

Hornville fail to take advantage of Green Star's loss, while early pacesetters Steaua Bridge have lost four of the last five and are now in the relegation zone.

U Street Gunners 2-3 Boys Town F.C.
Wildridings 3-1 Titos Leg
Suffragette City 2-0 Ivor the engine x1
Vladikavkaz Noj 3-1 AFC Phoebe
Kate Bush Select XI 3-1 Purple Nasties

The promotion race hots up in the first of the weeks in which everyone except Fancy Brigade plays the same team twice. Boys Town FC score the only away win.

Goddamn. Gene Lani is such a twat - him getting sent off after 86 minutes might have had something to do with our collapse.

I've very pleased that all went according to plan in my 2-1 win over the Dodgers courtesy of a noticable dodgy (har-har) injury time goal.
