Nuremberg are down, Frontzeck's Bielefeld stay up.

Today SAP-run Hoffenheim qualified for the Bundesliga, while Mainz's 5-1 destruction of St Pauli remained worthless.
On the other end of happiness, Lautern managed to stay in the Zweite Liga with a 3-0 win over still-drunk Köln. So Offenbach is mutating into the new elevator team and has to play in the newly-formed Third Division.

Rot-Weiß Ahlen and FC Ingolstadt seem most likely to go up, Oberhausen, Union Berlin and Düsseldorf still have chances in the north, FSV Frankfurt looks best in the south. And there's still the slim chance that the other Aalen (the one in Baden-Württemberg join their namesake from Northrhine-Westphalia in the Zweite Liga.

I would not wonder if one of the football celebrities who is on the market will be signed by Hoppenheim. Could even be Deco or Ronaldinho.
Count your money Abramovich, there will be serious opposition from a small village in the German middle of nowhere.

After re-reading the thread Jupp linked to, I really miss the old font and lack of that fucking "minutes ago" line. Didn't the overlords say they'd fix that. Can't be that difficult, can it?

Liq, still happy with your Dortmund supporting? You do know that with the BVB and Chelsea combination, there is only one Italian club you are allowed to support. Be of good cheer though, it's the Rome club that doesn't lose to Man Utd four times a year.

Ah man, I really miss the unclutteredness of the old board, too. Fun thread that was, as well.

The less said about my predictions the better, though. Having said that, I did say that Bayern would win everything, but that's not exactly what you could call going out on a limb.

Are Hoffenheim going to play the first half of next season in their current ground?

The new one isn't supposed to be ready until January or February of next year.
