Done.

I wonder sometimes about a HEGS podcast. If only I had some other people to discuss stuff with (I hate the sound of my own voice on record). Perhaps that's one for when I'm actually in Argentina...

I listened to the latest Portugal pod and really liked it so I'll be voting for you Steve.

As for a pod on Argentine football,I'm sure it would be popular. Which translated, means that I would listen to it.

I listened to the latest two editions of your podcast this week for the first time Steveee and erwin, and thought it was great. So I voted for you. Twice.

Yeah, I've voted early and often too. Worth doing repeatedly.

Thanks for the votes and the praise.

I hadn't listened to many other football podcasts apart from The Guardian and The Times ones. I'm quite surprised how different ours is to the others, the American ones seem high on style but low on content and the English ones are terribly geezerish, "Would Joe Cole be the type of bloke you'd have as a mate?" was the topic on one of them.

If your podcast were anything like your blog Sam, I'd definitely listen. It really helps to have two people doing it, not just because it sounds better but because it's really hard talking on your own for any length of time unscripted. You wouldn't really need another person who is knowledgeable about Argentinian football, just someone with a good personality and an interest in football that will ask questions and bounce off what you say.

I've really enjoyed your podcasts, so you get my vote, too. There is a Porto fan at work, and so I've been very grateful for the info you provide, when giving him a bit of abuse.

I have also voted twice for Steveee and Erwin, and would be more than willing to buy Sam a microphone.

Might Pitacodigringo be a good foil for Sam?

I've cast my vote.

Dotmund and I briefly floated the idea of doing a podcast last year - the plan was to sit up all night drinking tequila and record it as live while the 7.00 repeat of "Match Of The Day" was on. We never saw it through (though I'd never say never).

That sounds like it could either be the best, or the most shambolic podcast ever recorded, 200.

If the ideas being floated here all came to pass, OTF could be monopolising the nominations for next year's awards...
