The other thing about that clip is that a big fuss was made at the time because Roy Bailey (Gary's father) had been the Ipswich goalkeeper in their Third, Second and First Division championship wins. Also, I suspect that Paul Cooper, the Ipswich goalkeeper that day, might have been in the middle of his run of saving all those penalties at the time.

200%, I've always had a fondness for the goalkeepers who were in the top flight when I first started to follow football in the late 80s. A fascinating bunch of often grotesquely ugly people. I still get little momentary thrills whenever I see them sat on the coaching staff at clubs these days. Especially, for some reason, Steve Sutton.
