Richard Hatch's presence is a whole other level of geek pandering, so I didn't mention that.
I don't know why they gave him a role. Apparently, he tried to prevent the show from happening.
Apparently, the guy who played the original Starbuck (and was on the A-Team, Dirk Benedict)
thinks having Starbuck be a woman is PC-gone-mad or somesuch. I'm not sure, but it created a bit of kerfuffle.
Of course, he's wrong. The show wouldn't be nearly as interesting if Starbuck - not to mention the president, Cally and a few others - weren't female, as I've explained before.
