well they were one of the few countries in the world to rival england in the poverty of their play at the last world cup.

I reckon that the top scorer will be a relatively unknown young player from the eventual champions. Eren Derdiyok. I reckon you can get good odds on him.

AIatL, yeah, C.Ronaldo isn't going to be a good bet at the likely odds is he? I wasn't thinking what I was writing. I'm sticking with him as my prediction, but there won't be any money on it.

I always say this, but Russia have got to come good in a tournament at some point. Surely. The Zenit striker, Pogrebnyak, looked very decent indeed in the UEFA Cup semi against Bayern.
