I finally get the forum member's name.
Great, great film. A little difficult to follow at times (in terms of who has allegiances to whom, and who is double-crossing whom), but that's kind of the point.
Byrne's broody film-noir existentialism is spot-on, and Turturro's performance is incredible.
I think I've completed the Coens set now. Oh, apart from the last two or three. But I've seen all the classics. Hurrah.
If you want me for any other decade-and-a-half-late film reviews, just ring.
