Bought this today. I swore I'd never buy a football top again, being too old for all that shennanigans, but how many times do you get to buy your team's shirt without a sponsor? And there are stripes on the back too!

I loved the away kit they wore yesterday as well but i wish the badge and Umbro logo were lightly lower down the chest but they are obviously waiting for the sponsor's logo

QUOTE:
It's navy with light blue sleeves isn't it? A nod to their early eighties change strip.

Possibly but it is still too close to Plymouth's green especially when they have a perfectly good white kit (well, if you're a Jack, like)

Cardiff City & Wales I've always thought Forest Whitaker would do well. As I get older I am returning to the Custard Cream 3 Bits of Fry & Laurie - The Complete Scripts Jaded Axe Attack Location: East Molesey - it's paradise Birthdate: 1968-12-11

I think it's terrible.

It makes WBA look like some kind of billy no-mates side and I hope all the other teams point and laugh at their untouchable status.

If it were my team I'd avoid games out of embarrasment until it were rectified.

Oh bugger off with your capitalist sponsor appreciation.

CAn you genuinely say that "Ken Thorne's World of Cars", for instance, is better than an unsullied shirt

Yes. Don't forget that you're talking to a man who was trying to stick his own company's logo on Cardiff's shirts.

A team being the only one in the league/division without a sponsor is like the "being nude at the school assembly" dream to the power of a thousand, acute embarrasment.

So, none of them are "only one in the league/division without a sponsor" then?

None of them are Billy No Mates, no.

I've always found your position on this issue to be baffling. I appreciate your aesthetic criticism of the details WBA kit, but those aren't of general application.

BTW, the Udinese kit should bring a smile to all of those who favour narrow stripes, and is a tremendous upgrade over their recent efforts (the moire effect stripes, the asymetrical curved ones, etc.)

Sepp Blatter can't leave well enough alone, example 14,782.

A shiny badge to remind the Azzurri that they are World Cup Holders.

Interesting (if you're into this sort of thing) piece about Sevilla featuring the Spanish colours on their UEFA Cup kits this season on theoffside: http://sevilla.theoffside.com/team-news/club-or-country.html

I must admit I've never really liked the idea of the Wales flag featuring on Cardiff City kits either.

So here's our charity kit. Limited to 85 and supporting Huddersfield Royal Infirmary Breast Cancer Care Fund:

Our chairman-elect has already donated £1m to Macmillan Cancer Support too.

This guy is fantastic. I'm glad he's stopped giving Stan Ternent money to buy central midfielders.

Dulwich Hamlet and Corinthian-Casuals, both proud wearers of pink, are heroes of mine. Palermo less so, I can't properly explain why.
