The 'sorry about this' thread reminded me about that peculiar sub-genre - death songs. Morbid soul that I am, I'm a sucker for them so here a a choice few. Any other favourites?

'Last Kiss' - J. Frank Wilson and the Cavaliers (subject of an ill advised cover by Pearl Jam).

'The Storm' - Nolan Strong and the Diablos

'Johnny Remember Me' - John Leyton

'Endless Sleep' - Jody Reynolds
