And this week's matches (all Sunday 15h00). Score predictions for the two in bold, 1X2 for the other three.

Empoli - Livorno
Parma - Inter
Catania - Roma
Cagliari - Reggina
Lazio - Napoli

We will calculate and post the table later today; apologies for the interruption in service on that front.

Inter will be rubbish but still get a draw against poor old Parma. Roma will dominate their match but somehow contrive to throw away the championship in the 91st minute.

Enough with the scarmanzia, please.

The only thing that makes this marginally tolerable is that there isn't a third team in the race. The "traditional" result in such cases is for Juve to sneak up from behind on the last day and steal everyone's lunch money.

[And Sixmartlets, don't try convincing us that Collina in Perugia was anything other than the exception that proves the rule.]

Exceptions can't prove rules.

And Perugia was fucking awful. I was in Rome the next day and ther were still Laziali everywhere, dressing the statute of Neptune in pale blue scarves, spraypainting celtic crosses everywhere. It was unpleasant, let me tell you.

My initial "gut reaction" predictions were:
Empoli v Livorno 1
Parma v Inter 2
catania v Roma 2 (0-2)
Cagliari v Reggina X
Lazio v napoli X (1-1)

But having viewed the table further down the thread Ive decided to go for it and these are my "final guesses":

Empoli v Livorno X
Parma v Inter 2
Catania v Roma 2 (0-1)
Cagliari v Reggina X
Lazio v Napoli 1 (1-0)
