We've been away for a few days, and therefore have missed virtually all of a rather disappointing football weekend.

Results:
Milan - Inter 1 (2-1)
Lazio - Palermo 2
Sampdoria - Roma 2
Torino - Napoli 1 (2-1)
Atalanta - Livorno 1

disappointing??? it was one of the best weekends of football in a long time! ok, maybe a win for Fiorentina would have been nice, but other than that it was pretty good.

ah I have got all parochial here.

Things in Spain are bad (my sympathies there lie with Valencia). But I'm happy for Luca Toni. And Chelsea are still in the title race which I'm obliged to be happy about. So, y'know...

Well, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid were both inevitable champions anyway, it was just a matter of when not whether. This doesn't really alter the fact that aside from Arsing Cunting Milan moving into 4th spot, this weekend was pretty damned brilliant football wise.
