Ha, I just put up a post on Der Blogg featuring my 5-track random experiment (don't let it be said that I steal ideas).

The Band with Neil Diamond - Dry Your Eyes
Moldy Peaches - Anyone Else But You
John Barrowman & Kevin Kline - Night And Day
4 Non Blondes - What's Up (Piano Version)
Lloyd Cole & the Commotions - Rattlesnakes

Actually, there were a couple of other songs which I had posted before, but these five were in the first ten the iPod came up with.

Oh man, that Godley & Creme song; I can never decide whether it is utterly brilliant or brutally bad. I remember them doing that song on the German show Musikladen. They were either pretending to be robots, or they had robots on stage, Kraftwerk style. Same show featured "Living By Numbers" by New Musik, which was in my random 10 earlier today.

PT: There are two versions of it. One with an extra verse. I obviously like it a lot, but I can see how their wordsmithery would get on a lot of people's nerves.
