Is there a thread about tonight's game anywhere? Wouldn't it be lovely if there wasn't.

Anyway, for what it's worth - Come on Barca. Keep the ball for 90 minutes. Make that fat, sweaty thug run around until he's pink, angry and suspended, and then spend the last 20 minutes goading Nani with a nice bit of showboating.

Yes, his has got Barcelona in the title though, and it was a couple of minutes earlier than mine.

I've got more "views" though.

Come on Barca. Come on thread. I'll shut up about it now.

Sure, I'll let you have it. I tried deleting my thread but can't seem to find a delete function. Is that just me being computer illiterate or yet another drawback of the new board?

Very gracious of you, Otto. You may have the fantasy league in exchange.

Do you know, It really looks like nobody cares about tonight's match.

I suppose "Peter Cech's Epicentre" will be along soon, though.

ABU 365 say that Vidic was taken to hospital with a stomach complaint but his condition was not serious enough to stop him from playing...

The Telegraph says something different.

Mind games?

For what it's worth, I care. My cousin (the Catalan one) says he thinks it'll be 2-0. I don't make predictions, especially with United in Europe and especially especially when I'm as nervous about it as I am about this one.

Even though Barca have been terrible all season and we could scarcely hope to play them at a better time, I'm still bricking it. Largely at the thought of Lio Messi switching wings and coming up against our 'right back', whoever he may be.

From a United point of view, the scariest thing about the 'injury scares' report linked to above is the news that Mikael Silvestre is available. That outweighs even Vidic's absence as a source of panic.

To be fair, Silvestre had a solid game against Roma.

If Anderson and Carrick start, I think we'll have a decent chance of coming away with something.

My Sopcast link creates the visual experience of watching this match on mescalin. Those Chinese commentators are so damn loud, too.

My blurry sopcast link (Sports Channel 5 through myp2p) is combining with the top down Nou Camp camera angle to be reminiscent of Kick Off 2 on the Amiga, or a seventies late night World Cup broadcast from Argentina. It's got the Sky commentary though, to take the novelty edge off.

Barca aren't playing that well, but they're bossing this. United look terrified - that penalty miss has destabilised them, and they can barely get out of their own half. Lots of desperate punts out of defence.

Ronaldo just made it into the box at last and fell over (no idea if it was a penalty or a dive, Sopcast made it look more like the video to "Bohemian Rhapsody"). If they've done their homework, Barca would have little to fear anyway: when he screws something up and then gets a second chance, Ronaldo always does it exactly the same way as the first time, but slightly better. Whether Valdes knows that or not is another matter (is it Valdes playing? He looks like a garage-psych album cover on my stream).

Typically frustrating half from Barca (65% possession and zero clear chances), though Messi has definitely made them more dangerous than they have been since he was injured.

Yeah, Barca still don't look that good, despite Messi's efforts. They'd have been two or three up against a Man Utd side playing this badly two or three years ago. If I was a stats dullard I'd be interested in what Man U's pass-completion rate was in that half - shockingly wayward.

They will almost certainly now win, however, I reckon.
