There is a lower league team from Hamburg that has a red and purple kit (as the result of a merger), maybe it's influenced by that.

I like the Hamburg kit, it looks a more professional version of this Queensland Roar kit.

I really like three of the Fenerbahce kits, especially the right most one - the white with the three horizontal bands.

First proper look at our kit this season

Is the return to the old badge permanent, or just an "end of an era" type thing?

The yellow looks awful gold in that shot, and wasn't it supposed to have vertical stripes a la the 70s classic?

I won't even say anything about the more prominent flag.

The badge is a one-off return due to a fan's vote for the "End of the Era" vibe.

The shirt is more of a nod to the classic than a reproduction, I am happy with that as I feared how they'd execute the latter.

The flag makes it look slightly busy and probably means we have a sponsor above the player's name where it used to be but I'd rather have it than not.

My main issue is the (to quote Joma) "distressed shade of blue". It's very muddy.
