I think it's fair to say I'm getting pummelled into the ground by both Ad hoc and Toro, in the games we're playing (even though I started the latter game by putting "Frontiers" down for about 74 points) so if FF has managed to keep track of what's going on, I think our group is going to be between the games between those two.

Game 1 between Lardinho/The Chubby Cyclist and Barndoorio:

Lardinho/TCC 364
Bardoorio 354

Very, very tight game. Neck and neck to the finish.

No other games under way in this group, I think. No sign of Caliban at all.

DS and I finished our third game today.

Matej - 363
DS - 336

He got stuck with a bingo he couldn't play, and I took advantage of "twined" being 2 letters away from a triple word score to play "untwined" on the penultimate turn.

not happy at all with the result. I'm a sore looser.

Is their a UEFA cup type scrabble competion for the loosers?

Thanks for the games Mafu (and to everyone else taking part).

Unless I'm mistaken, Group G looks something like this,

Wendy 5-8 (q)
Mafu 5-4
DG 6-4
