Isn't France's away kit usually all white? In any case, I suspect that UEFA were

a) prohibiting shorts clashes, and
b) consider white shirts/blue shorts v blue shirts/white shorts to be too similar.

Both of which are a bit silly, of course.

Cardiff City & Wales I've always thought Forest Whitaker would do well. As I get older I am returning to the Custard Cream 3 Bits of Fry & Laurie - The Complete Scripts Jaded Axe Attack Location: East Molesey - it's paradise Birthdate: 1968-12-11

France switched to all white change kit in the last 5/10years, I think. They were white/blue/red (when possible) for decades beforehand as I remember.

Bordeaux get it horribly wrong:

This "alternate" monstronsity doesn't even serve any purpose, as its primary colour is the same as their navy blue home kit.

I'm obviously biased, but I quite like Corinthians' latest update of the pinstripe.

On a different note, each of the Big Three clubs in Portugal will have the same sponsor for the upcoming season. The one they've chosen for their away shirts is quite unfortunate, and Porto's implementation of same on a "sea foam" coloured ground is particularly unfortunate:

Kaierslautern:

Not very interesting except for the way Stefan Kuntz is holding the third (?) kit.

Classic expression by Kuntz.

The kits are beh, but at least they've gone back to real red. That whole claret/maroon/burgundy thing was disasterous.

Ipswich's new moneybags owner, I think.

We've got a Barnet supporter on here, haven't we?

What is going on with their colours? I noticed they appeared to have switched to an all black first kit a few seasons ago by careful study of Endsleigh League Extra but for some arcane reason the placement of a white & red kit on the left of the photo below makes me wonder if that's now the "home" kit.

I would be amazed if Barnet had changed their colours from amber and black. I was guessing, I'd say that they are second and third kits although, as you rightly say, they have worn all-black before.

No, I think their first kit has been all black (with amber trim) for a few seasons now.

It won't surprise anyone that I had the exact same question when I saw those. Even if they haven't abandoned their traditional colours entirely, the apparent shift from amber to orange is something to be decried.

Oh for fuck's sake, what crap;

A quick check on here indicates that Barnet have been responsible for some truly horrendous kits over the last few years (and historical kits lists the all-black one as their home kit, which is good enough for me):

Boy, should Barnet go back to the black and purple kit or what?
