I think it's actually supposed to vinho tinto, so as not to indicate a Northern bias . . .

So, it appears that Norway's new international crest



which I actually quite like, had engendered significant opposition at home for its failure to incorporate the Norwegian flag. So much so that the FA have withdrawn it.

I guess you could say that Umbro's designers are taking a hell of a beating . . .

But you're right about the shorts. The underpattern on the shirt wouldn't work in velour.
