OK, I know there's already a separate thread for Stay Beautiful (and maybe BSL?), but I propose a special thread for posting our one-off/guest DJing activities, so that the board doesn't get overloaded with self-promoting spam (of which I am probably more guilty than anyone). Even if nobody else joins in this thread, it's probably a good idea to enforce a bit of discipline on myself...

Attention BRIGHTON people: Simon at Da Doo Ron Ron on Fri 25th April!

I've been living here by the seaside since September, so it's about bloody time that I took the plunge into the Brighton club scene.

I'm honoured that my debut* is to be at DA DOO RON RON ( http://www.dadooronronclub.com / http://www.myspace.com/dadooronron60sgirlgroups ), the absolutely brilliant Sixties girl group/femme-pop night, at KOMEDIA on Gardner St on FRIDAY 25th APRIL (it runs from 11pm-3am). I'll be spinning a vinyl-only set between 12.30 and 1.30, and you can expect to hear the likes of Dusty, Nancy, Sandie, Supremes, Ronettes, Vandellas, Chiffons, Lulu, plus a few juicy surprises.

I've been to DDRR once before and it's just the most joyous fun, I tell you. I'd love it if you could get your white boots on, beehive your hair, come along and show me some support!

I've been told I can have a CHEAPO £4 GUEST LIST (as opposed to the usual price of £6), so if you hit me back in time with your name(s), I'm sure we can sort that out.
