Schelotto was a fucking disgrace today.

0-0 against the league's top team would have been a glorious victory last year. Right now, all I can think is that today's game is 2 hours of my life I'm not getting back. We need a striker something fierce.

You need to let play Cunningham play 90 game in and game out and ride the storm. Whether Carver will go for that is another question.

One of the great things about MLSlive is getting road broadcasts in Chicago and listening to an entire league's worth of announcing slate Blanco for falling and whining.

I flat out don't understand Carver. Mo was easy - he had a completely British attitude to attack: lump it high to the big fella, let him knock it down, and see what happens.

Carver, on other hand, has his midfielders keep the ball on the ground. so far, so good, but if that's the way you're playing WHY KEEP THE BIG GUY UP FRONT? There are no balls to knock down anymore!

With Danny leading the line, TFC have the slowest transition from defense to attack this side of the French army. It's brutal to watch. Fuck, even Laurent Robert can outrun him and he's a lazy sod.

Surely, Soehn's neck must be on the block now.

the Galaxy are playing some attractive soccer up to this point- but does Donovan's ego require him to take corners while Becks stands at the halfway line?

Man that game was satisfying. 5 goals, and none of them scored by Landon or Beckham. The announcers on FSN West were criminal in giving no credit to McDonald for his great pass to Buddle for his first goal--a through ball from about the center circle. Sure, great footwark from Buddle to get through the defenders and score, but come on. That was a hell of a pass.

Can I chalk of that FC Dallas goal to Xavier? Cuz I don't think he could have given his man more space to cross that ball.

Cracking goal from Gallardo in the loss. Did I miss imp's comments on that game?

I don't think he's commented.

I didn't actually see it. It was on FSC.

My landlord phoned me today asking if I wanted tickets to Sunday's Red Bulls vs. Chicago. My nephew and I will be cheering for Chicago. Heh.

I will be there too, cheering for the Fire! Look for the group of 50-60 Fire fans going nuts, I'll be in the middle of them.

The Fire fans will be easy to find, FF, as not only will they be physically segregated they'll be making more noise than all the NY fans combined.

Pathetic place, Giants stadium. Be prepared for endless confusion over throw-ins with all the bastard gridiron markings, goldstone.

From Grahame Jones' column today:

QUOTE:
The way that the four-time champions fell apart in the latter part of the game, during which Chivas scored three goals in nine minutes, was enough to leave D.C. United Coach Tom Soehn livid.

In a profanity-laced tirade in the locker room -- the walls at the Home Depot Center are not that thick -- Soehn lashed out at his players, letting them know that games last 90 minutes, not 60, and that the reason they are 2-6 in MLS and 0-4 on the road is because they lack fortitude.
