After a bit of a sulk, I am now trying to be optimistic, so :-
No need to remove the terrace.
No ticket price rise ( hopefully ).
Not being so squashed in.
No Windass or Trundle plundering goals off us. Although they might both be in the premiership, which would be intriguing, can the portly forward still flourish in the top flight hothouse ?
No refs giving penalties or sending off our players for no reason, just because we are a 'small team'.
No need to have such a small team chip on my shoulder.
Er, that's it. This list might be even shorter next season.

Such is the interesting word there. Do you think the old (old)3rd division is too high for you as well then?
I think it's a real shame your going down, btw. Last season you were outstanding. At least you'll be able to pick up 6 easy points against Bristol Rovers, which weren't available last season.
We should really have enough about us to stay up in the 3rd, nobody could go around claiming we went berserk financially, and we still just about competed in the championship. In fact our ambitions were stated pretty plainly when our best defender went to Darlington at the start of the season.
The such was more about the size of the chip this year.
Saints have thoroughly adjusted to life in the "championship" now. So much so that they've found themselves back in their comfort zone, the relegation battle, and everything seems like old times.
I wasn't really sure why Scunthorpe sold off eg Sharp?
I shall be paying my third visit to Glanford Park on Saturday
The first was a 3-3 draw in Division 4 where Andy Saville improbably scored a hattrick - around 1998 from what I remember. And the other was a Division 3 game in 2000 where we played 4-5-1 and ground out a 0-0 draw towards the end of a relegation season for us.
I'm expecting the relegated Irons to put on a performance now the "pressure is off" and put paid to any lingering hopes we may have had of the playoffs.
We've sold a pitiful 200 tickets for the match btw, although this may be because nobody can get through to the bloody ticket office for cup final ticket enquiries.
The powers that be at Wednesday have just announced their price rises before knowing which division we will be in. Season tickets for best seats will cost a bargain £605 (full price, £515 for renewals before 14 June and £545 if bought before 28 June). You couldn't make it up.

Two million of your English pounds! He's hardly set the world alight at the Lane.
QUOTE: No Windass or Trundle plundering goals off us.
Half of Trundle's 4 goals this season came against Scunthorpe, one of the others was the last kick of the game in a 3-1 win, the remaining one was in a 1-2 defeat.
Billy Sharp went back to the blades because he is a blade, so respect to him for that, you could always tell, he celebrated his goal against Chesterfield like he'd won the world cup. Turned everyone else down, even though they were offering him good money.
Not sure he'd have gone if he'd known the godlike strategist Bryan Robson was intending to play him out of position, then drop him. We could certainly have done with him when the goals started drying up.
We sold because he wanted to go, and because the chairman seems to be determined not to go the same way as many others and get into financial trouble.Generally
I agree with him, but a bit of strengthening at the start of the season when we were doing ok might have seen us survive. By January, when he finally woke up and realised you can't take a good league 1 team, suffer a few injuries and suspensions and stay up, it was too late, confidence was shot, and we were gone.
Trundle scores half his goals against us every season, we are the hurricane beneath his wings.
PBF, I'd say good luck but, you know, that would imply you winning, so er, bad luck. I'm not going, part timer that I am, I've never been to Cardiff, hopefully one day.
Anyway enough of such chit chat, and on to the boasting
POST OF THE DAY MOTHERFUCKERS, POST OF THE DAY. KISS MY HAIRY RINGPIECE I HAD POST OF THE DAY. HAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.
I am adding it to my list of good things about relegation.
