Villa have got GROUP F: Hamburg, Ajax, Slavia Prague so far.

Is this the Red light district group?

That Sevilla group looks deadly, apart from Partizan.

MSK Zilina complete Villa's group. It looks pretty clear who will qualify there.

Who are Zilina?
I feel like a novice, I don't know too much about them.

Anyone?

Local police look forward to overtime (assuming the Pompey tie will be here).

Zilina are Slovakian.

NEC complete Tottenham's group. They should be happy with that, but they might still fuck it up.

Hamburg and Slavia Prague away, Ajax & Zilina at home - not too bad, I suppose...

BBC site referred to a "horror draw" for Man City.

I can't agree with that unless they're referring to further exposure to Schteve McClaren's new ackschent.

Is it 3 from each group go through? If not, I can't see us getting any further in the competition.

Villain - <applause> Fancy a few away games?

Villa should get out of that group very easily. Portsmouth on the other hand could be in a spot of bother. (It is worth noting at this point that herrenveen beat Ajax 5-2 at the weekend)

The Toughest groups in that are groups C and E

I'm guessing at two. It can't be one because then at best you would be in fourth place, ahead only of the team you drew with assuming they also lost all three other matches.

C has to be the hardest to predict who will come through, group of death then.

I will be looking forward to the Greek Turk clash, wanted an English side but sadly not to be.

C is by far the toughest group. E will be very competitive, but all the teams have significant flaws.

Villa should take some comfort from the fact that Ajax are having a bit of a nightmare start to their season (7 points from 5 games, 6 points behind surprise leaders Groningen)
