We've done this before, and my problem is always "new" countries.

I've been to Sarajevo, but never to an independent Bosnia-Herzegovina. Does it count or not?

And do you have to go to the country for the express purpose of watching football?

Anyway, the places on your "not" list that I could cross off are:
Portugal, France, Slovenia, Greece and Turkey.

But there are quite a few on your "watched" list that I can't claim.

For my list you don't have to have visited for the express purpose of watching football but you do have to have watched a match in that "country" so watching a match in Sarajevo doesn't count for BiH ... on my list ... what's on yours is up to you!

13 - Watched Football in

Republic of Ireland
Northern Ireland
England
Scotland
Wales
Italy
Spain
Holland
France
Germany
Austria
Estonia
Croatia

That makes 40 countries I've yet to see a game in. Of those, Greece is the only country I've ever visited. So football tends to be the main reason for travelling.

Jorge, I'm surprised you've missed the two Luxembourg-Wales games and the Portugal-Wales game in Chaves.

I've seen a match in Wales, but it was an English match between two English clubs (2007 Johnstone's Paint Trophy final at the Milennium Stadium). If that counts, I'm on five.

- England
- Wales
- Spain
- Hungary
- Germany

The last Luxembourg game I was in Sarajevo watching the u21s against Bosnia - the one before coincided with my exams in college - shit excuse I know!

As for Chaves, I was aksed if I fancied working on the game - bloody hell, yes, I exclaimed - little did I know it meant working on the coverage as a studio producer back in Wales!

By the way, looking at your list, I'm guessing I may well recognise you if I saw you t.o.s.k.?
