Number two story on the news today - after Brown lining up the people who will go down with him on the Titanic - is the Government advising everyone to get a flu jab. Now. Leave your desks, go and get a jab. Just do it! Why are you reading this! Go and get a jab!

Do they know something we don't, to prompt such an urgent call to arms (see what I did there)?

Have anybody else had a flu jab. I had one last year cos my mum's immune defense system was going down due to the medication she was taking and we were advised by the Hospital doc's to get one, so we wouldn't bring in anything nasty to the hospital (think he was being ironic there!) anyway, the bloody thing laid me low for 2 weeks with symptons far worse than the actual flu!. never again.
