Recently I've been having the above problem whilst watching YouTube, Megavideo, and that on my PC. It wasn't such a problem last night, as I was watching a dubbed film anyway, but when I'm watching The Wire or The Shield, or whatever, it kind of takes away from the whole experience.

Anyone know the cause? And more to the point, anyone know the solution?

I see this a lot with Youtube. I think a lot of the time it's the fault of the person who encoded/uploaded the video.

Try one of the older ones you were watching that didn't have a problem to check.
