During the game vs Italy there was a nice patriotic banner in the Spanish end with the O crossed as befits young fascists...

They're both no longer alive, so their opinions on Sunday's match can no longer be sought, which clearly disappoints many people.

I'm assuming (since they've not shown him) that it's Manolo in the crowd with the drum? I watched the Valencia vs. Chelsea Champs League game in his bar last September. Nice man, and a great experience to be so near to the ground while the game was going on...

There is symbol which a kind of euphemism for fascist youths, a circle with a cross in the middle. Originally the cross branches would go beyond the circle but nowadays, the cross is contained within the circle so that those who exhibit it can claim some spurious bollocks about it being an ancient symbol.

Thinking about, I know what you mean. I remember seeing one held up by half-a-dozen skinheads in Bradford when I was on an anti-fascist rally in the early seventies. Apparently they were from the British Movement, who were a right-wing split off from the Nation Front. I remember them singing "2-4-6-8, We support the Fascist state"...
