Fucking hang the fuck on a minute. I'd hate to interrupt your little swap meet here, but I need to pick up on something as a matter of urgency.

RayDeChaussee, I'm going to ignore the fact you support all but three of the football teams in the world, because that doesn't matter to me. But one thing you're not going to get away with is saying your favourite biscuit is the Bakewell Tart.

The what now? The Bakewell... what? Tart, was that? Since when was a tart a biscuit? Was the question 'favourite cake'? Or 'favourite tart'? Was it fuck. It clearly asked 'favourite biscuit'. Which for me is the modish Nice.

I didn't let imp off with his Jaffa CAKE, and I'm certainly not letting you get away with a sodding Bakewell Tart. Change it forthwith or I'm calling a swap ban. You will no longer be allowed to trade stickers with the others until you modify that... that... ABBERATION.

Mnb's just dipped into my Iberian pile and left me with:
11, 34, 40, 162, 190, 262, 294, 303, 304, 349(x2), 401, 411, 432, 477, 485, 487(x2), 490, 491, 500, 504, 505, 533.

Going out on another sortie later - this album's going down motherf****r.

Suffering from a distinct lack of Germans and Russians, though, which merely confirms my hunch that they'll playing out the Euro final.

EIM, as an Anglo-Scot exiled in Spain I think I'm entitled to three club sides. Don't know what I'd do if they all got drawn in the same Champions League group, though. As for Scotland, that's a life sentence I can't do anything about.

Let's move on to my tart selection. Perhaps I have transcended the boundaries of biscuitness, but I still feel it's a valid choice. Maybe WSC could extend the category to "Favourite biscuit/tart/cake". We'd all be happy then.

Thing is I've never really been a biscuit fan. Ok, Clubs, Uniteds, Breakaways and Penguins all played a part in my childhood, and I'm not denying Nice aren't nice or that a Hob Nob dunked in your coffee isn't pleasurable, but for sheer soft, luscious almondness nothing comes close to a bakewell tart, except perhaps a macaroon or an almond slice (depending on the manufacturer, of course).

If push came to shove, I could stretch to a Tunnocks, but that's as far as I'm prepared to go.

I'd be happy to open this out into a general discussion. Anyone else got any input?
