I'm collecting with my six year old son - not sure who is getting the biggest buzz out of it.

I tend to buy him ten packs then release them during the week two packs at a time. For some reason if I buy ten packs I tell my wife I bought six packs....a bit like when I bet £8.50 on my weekend football bets I tell my wife I spent "about a fiver". I've come to the conclusion that all successful marriages are built on constant small-scale deception - but that's a topic for another day.

This is my first post with WSC. It takes me back because, around 1990, I had two articles published. One was in the magazine and the other was in the second WSC book called "Bookable Offence". I was invited to bring a friend along to the book launch one evening in London. I was excited because I imagined the room would be full of famous footballers but it wasn't. I did get a free copy of the book and it was a free bar all night so that was good.
