I found this lvl 30 TE who will be a FA at the end of the season. I PM'd him and he said that we were near the top of the teams he had heard from.

His attributes are:
Strength: 49.15 Blocking: 41.31
Speed: 62.44 Tackling: 14.44
Agility: 49.67 Throwing: 9
Jumping: 15.85 Catching: 51.51
Stamina: 35.56 Carrying: 19.37
Vision: 39.22 Kicking: 9
Confidence: 23.44 Punting: 10

Blocking SAs: 2-0-0-0-0
Receiving SAs: 5-5-5-1-1 (custom)

He could be a better receiver at his level if he hadn't put as many points in strength and blocking, but he would be a fairly significant upgrade for us.

What do you think?

Yep. It turns out that a lot of teams do.

Do we want to do anything for the Lost City game? I'm tempted to just let it be, as I wouldn't mind taking a couple of days off from GLB (except for a sending out recruiting PMs).

I moved DeSmith to running back (and took him off of KOS), just to see how a heavy speed back does (though he may fumble a bit).

I sure hope you end up having better luck finding upgrades than I have. I haven't seen much in any of our needed positions yet.

I've probably sent a total of 15 PMs total for all positions, so, yeah, not much. Of course, most contracts don't expire until day 40.

By the way, the Phnom Penh Warriors in Alpha are undergoing a fire sale (going to turn into a slow-building team). If there's anyone we're really interested in, it may be worth trading for them.

I'm running out soon, but I noticed that the center is pretty good. Also, their LBs seem to be good from their bars and all have expiring day 40 contracts (so we wouldn't need to trade). Matej, if you a few minutes today, could you PM them to see if they'd want to join us and would PM us their attributes SAs? We probably only want one of them, but it's worth seeing how they're built.

a response of no from the G (he's promised to another team.)

I took a few minutes this afternoon and added a new play for the defensive AI to see what a 3-4 run stop looks like. It will run on 1st and 10s, basically only against the pro set. We should see it once or twice I hope.

I've also sent a PM to this guy: http://goallineblitz.com/game/home.pl?user_id=39116

As both his Guard and WR are up as free agents. The G would be a definite upgrade, the WR only marginally (though he's built up his blocking nicely for us).

Too bad about the guard, but hopefully we'll hear something more positive from the other guys.

By the way, now that the pitch can be rendered useless by the defense, I'm not sure that WR blocking is as useful as it used to be. It helps a bit with off-tackle runs, but isn't the break-away benefit that it was on pitch plays.

By the way, in his second round playoff game, our future DE Frankie Fitzgerald got 6 sacks (that's 11 in two playoff games).

By the way, I've just PM'd all of the agents on our team who had other high-level players that will become FAs at the end of the season to see if they'd want to bring them over.

I've sent out a few more PMs, but nothing back from anyone yet. (Mainly to agents who have at least 2 players that fit our needs.)
