Is Federer over-the-hill and are we moving into a new age in mens tennis?

I don't think so yet. Saying that...Federer may be well advised not to get a new "walking on court" outfit for Wimbledon....

We kicked this around a bit on the old board after his dip last fall.

I think it much too early to write him off on grass, and all of the challengers have also gone through rough patches recently. I would also be shocked if his inevitable decline is one of the "fall off a cliff" variety, he's simply too smart a player for that to happen.

He may, however, very well decide to retire at or near the top.

as smart as he is, he also has a stubborn streak. If this is the end of his reign I can see him sticking around desperatley trying to get the 15 slams
