Much as I'm enjoying Gavin and Stacey, I'm finding 'Pulling' even funnier.

M'colleague in work has made the same observation.

As we're on to a third page and I don't have to avoid what appeared to be spoilers ( I know, I know! It's a sitcom but I still don't want the plot given away) can I ask people to label them with *SPOILER ALERTS* as I have three to catch up on.

Oh, and while there wasn't enough of Nessa, the thing with the AA batteries and "a bit of 'me-time'" made up for it.

Not to mention the subsequent washing.

I have laughed long and loud at masturbation jokes on G&S two weeks running. It's like being 14 again.

Tonight's episode was rubbish. Barely a laugh in the whole half-hour. Just a light chuckle when Nessa was doing her robot Charlie Chaplin act.

True enough but UNlce Bryn is always good to watch. Rob Brydon's acting is spot on.

QUOTE:
Ruth Jones looks good for 41. I thought she was seven or eight years younger.

I think this may also be down to her playing much younger characters than she is constantly. Seeing as she was supposed to be a teenager in "East is East" which was only 9 years ago and a character who, I always assumed, was supposed to be in her early 20s in "Nighty Night" only a couple of years ago.

It is even wierder now she is playing alongside Rob Brydon who is only a year older than her.

I don't know what the age difference was supposed to be between Saxondale and Magz but Coogan and Ruth are only a year apart as well.

Bizzare, this acting lark, isn't it? It's just like pretending for a living

It's been bugging me who Gavin looks like when he does His Look.

I mean, I'm sure he's an edible mod cutie in the eyes of most beholders, but still.

"Ti-EEEEE-dy."

A soppy and comedy-starved finale (give or take the odd mooing noise), but not too bad.

Does anyone know what that song was that Bryn & co were singing to Nessa at her hospital bedside?

Oh, and bugger me, they've just won a BAFTA as I speak.

It was Jack Johnson. Bryn was playing it to her on the iPod earlier in the show.

Hah. Fuckin' Jack Johnson, man. I'm glad Corden/Jones got a little dig in about that cunt before the end of the series (like they did with Blunt a couple of episodes ago).

Actually, I've just remembered another funny bit. Bryn's rubber gloves and the "four fingers".
