Just started d/l-ing and watching the first season of this show, which was heavily jocked by a number of friends, but may end up being "critically acclaimed" without being successful (to borrow a Sports Guy idea).

I can't decide if this show is really good, or just BH90210 good. Anyone else watching this? Assuming no one outside the States has any interest, though I would be curious as to non-American reaction to the gestalt of high school football in Texas--having lived in those parts, I can attest that the show really doesn't overplay the insane devotion to the sport that exists in the small-town South.

It's good in the "best show on television" good. I'm a huge fan, as is Amor de Cosmos.

Wait: downloading, right?

And "jocked" is guessable, even though I don't think I've ever heard it before.

Anyway, I would probably watch this if it was on over here. I liked the book.
