There's no easier way to experience Glastonbury as a clapped-out-jaded-bloke-who's-going-to-Latitude-instead than on a vaguely large telly with BBC interactive on. However, this just happened:

"Next: The Hoosiers
Later: KT Tunstall"

Fuck. Me. Sideways.

If it isn't Zane Lowe's sultana-brained positivity, it's Edith Bowman's papercut-lipped austerity. I don't think I've ever missed John Peel this much.

But at least we get to watch the fucking Editors, eh.

truly dreadful.
I found The Kills set for the second time, on one of the other channels and then realised once was enough so switched off.
(actually my Media Centre thing crashed - a blessing in disguise)
but damn, KOL, love the way Mark R tried to talk them up prior to their slot.
sorry Mark, they really are that dull.

Mark R seems in the mood to upset an editorial apple cart or two and/or bait Lauren Laverne, whichever comes to fruition first. I'm wondering if it's anything to do with the drink which is appearing constantly in his hand.

Musically there's not much on this year that I'm looking forward to except Elbow and Hot Chip and they're both on at the damn same time on Saturday night. I'd also love to see Laura Marling get a quick showcase, but I reckon that's wishful thinking.

Of the stuff so far that I wasn't bothered about my ears were pricked up by the one song I heard by The Enemy and the second tune by MGMT, though not so much the famous one.

The Dizzee Rascal BBC collaboration was good, too.

rather wished they would show the Edwyn Collins set. He had Roddy Frame playing in his band as well. Great set list too:

'Falling And Laughing'
'Poor Old Soul'
'What Presence?'
'Home Again'
'Searching For The Truth'
'Make Me Feel Again'
'You'll Never Know My Love'
'Rip It Up'
'One Track Mind''
'Blue Boy'
'A Girl Like You'

I think you may be confusing Mark Radcliffe with one Mark Goodier. And even then, if it's 2005 we're referring to, I'm not sure his contribution wasn't one of those programmes sitting in the vaults ready for just such an occasion:

I assure you I'm not confusing Radcliffe with Goodier.

Discussed on OTF at the time.

I know nobody can believe that Mark Radcliffe could be a scab because he talks in a northern accent and he used to be in The Fall, but things don't always cleave so conveniently.
