I've just seen a track I want to download on a band's Myspace page, but the only download link is to iTunes, which I don't have installed and have no intention of installing. Being a bit of a novice in the field of purchasing music online, I have to ask, is there an alternative to iTunes? Somewhere that has the same availability of tracks, but that you don't have to download and install?

Forgot clean about this. The track is called 'Black Moon' and it's by an act called A.Human

It would be nice to be able to get hold of the remixes too. No luck with SoulSeek.

Arse. Now there are links to play.com for the single, album and remixes. Nothing like having to wait for the band's official release dates, is there.

Ah well, let's turn this into an 'A.Human, they're OK aren't they, even though I (obviously) haven't heard the album yet' thread.

This is very naughty of me, but for the specific purposes of ripping mp3s from Myspace (or anywhere else, really), you might wanna try this:

got the album by chance today KM.
have to say, not overly keen despite the fact Tim 'DiV' Holmes is the music man for this.
admittedly, i'm only one listen in, but it wasn't a particularly enjoyable experience, so i'm in no rush to have another go.
the singer has one of those love it or loathe it voices.
i'll give it another go once i have got fed up with David Axelrod (probably about 11:34 tomorrow) and see how it plays then.

king hob.
ok, just to let you know, the a-human album is a good old fashioned "grower".
its all about the love-hate vocals.
i have now succumbed and have found this to be a really enjoyable/interesting electro-pop album.
