Just read a story about a donut & coffee shop in Leeds (on Duncan Street near 'the train station') that has quite merrily ripped off Canada's National Donut Store, Tim Hortons.
Calling itself 'Timmies', it has nicely appropriated the typeface, oval design and colour of Tim Hortons. Apparently it's only been open since early June, but is already in litigation with Hortons over the fairly blatant ripoff....er homage.

I'm there next weekend for my conferral, and it's just around the corner from my flat.

Do you feel your national honour has been besmirched WOMB ? Send in the mounties tout de bloody suite, and get them to radically change that typeface pronto is is my advice, it's the only language these barbarians understand. Otherwise they'll be using maple leaves as toilet paper before you know it.
