I predict that League One will, as usual, finish just ahead of League Two this season.

I predicted one of the relegated teams would finish as low as 19th last season, so my utterly cast-iron prediction will follow soon.

It is hard to pick from what will be a tight division; On any given day all teams are capable of beating one another and I'm not terribly insulted by CTT's forecast that Tranmere will finish 20th as they could easily finish anywhere fron 22nd to 7th this season.

But I'll go for:
UP
Leeds
Carlisle
Posh through the play-offs

DOWN
Walsall
Cheltenham
Yeovil

Yes I've only picked three to go down - add any other team that goes into administration (Luton & Bournemouth last season) and that should complete the set.

Phoebe, thanks for putting Cheltenham 12th. Far too many people here don't appreciate that we're a big club. I blame that photographer clown who did the book "Football Days". He had an agenda. Could have photographed anything but he stuck in a picture of a bowling green.

My prediction- Cheltenham 24th

As long as your boys repeat your performances against Leeds from last season, you're alright by me Tubby.

I'd happily take a couple of defeats to Cheltenham, as long as, on our way to the League One title, we enjoy suitably spanking wins over all the clubs (local minnows etc.) whose fans exhibit gratuitous malice towards the glorious beacon of legend that is LUFC.

Dirty Leeds will, I fear, win the division by March.

The mighty HTFC will go up 23 points behind them.

Cheltenham ended last season really impressively. I can see them staying up again. I'd predict that a plethora of teams that flirted with the play-offs last year - Tranmere, Walsall, us - to be fighting the drop. Alas, I fear Franchise won't be among them. Leeds and Southend for top two, I reckon
