...I've finished upgrading my blog. Those of you that are interested in this sort of thing can see it here:
http://www.twohundredpercent.net

I still have a few minor glitches to iron out (the SD link picture only seems to work every other time that I update it, and the DNS change still only seems to be partially working and this seems to be affecting the time that it takes to open, but these are reasonably resolvable), but I'm pretty glad to be off Blogger and able to play around with the format of it all for the first time.

Also, I'd humbly ask all OTFers who link to me in some form or other to update their links, if possible. Constructive criticism would also be most welcome (although bear in mind that I am still fiddling with the design of it). Also, if there's anyone that would like a link in the big, messy links page that I have created (which will be sorted out and improved in time, I promise), here would probably be the best place to point it out to me.

I added your site to my Google Reader half an hour ago. I was very impressed by your FA Trophy article.

I did note that , EIM. I only really put it up there because I wanted to see how it worked and how easy it is to set up (the answer - very).

Thanks for your comment, NA. There's precious little "news" that I'm interested in at the moment, so I plan to put up a lot more pieces like that over the next couple of weeks.

Two quick (and, I hope, helpful) points, 200.

I find the layout a bit confusing, given that there are so many different places via which I could start to read, for example, the Motson article. I understand that you perhaps want to give your bigger pieces in particular a longer shelf-life than the straightforward chronological blog format might provide, but the structure could maybe do with a bit of simplification.

Second, I personally find it much easier to read a longer piece onscreen if there is some attempt other than just paragraphs to split up the text. This is why I use bold letters for the first mention of a person's name, for example, in a post on GGOA. Some of your aticles tend to be pretty lengthy and it could be that this sort of thing will help people to engage that bit more easily. Just a suggestion, of course.

Yeah, I've been looking at trimming down the number of words on the front page, and will probably fiddle with it tonight.
