No thread yet on next week's final, or have I missed it?

Surely we can't lose this one--won't Roman and company devise some kind of trap door in the 18 yard box that slides open to drop Rooney and Tevez into a Dr. Evil-esque vat of sharks with lasers on their heads?

2-1 Chelsea in extra time.

Cardiff City & Wales I've always thought Forest Whitaker would do well. As I get older I am returning to the Custard Cream 3 Bits of Fry & Laurie - The Complete Scripts Jaded Axe Attack Location: Porthcawl originally, now Surrey, via London Birthdate: 1968-12-11

There was a plethora of threads in the immeadiate aftermath of the semis which are currently dormant while other issues dominate.

But for the fact I have decided that a Chelsea victory is the least worst outcome I would have dug out this from last season ;

This thread is probably the quintessential mid-period of the build-up CL Final thread for me.

Happy to concede to more...anatomically-titled threads on the final, but surely I get at least a little credit for the reference to one of the classic films of the Soviet era. Which title, by the way, seems to me to apply equally to all the pissing and moaning about who's actually in the final.

I think you are suffering from the relative paucity of Russian speakers on here.

Captain Bedsock has not reappeared on the new board, and what little Russian I ever had has atrophied completely.

Here's the reference, for the Slavicly-deficient:

Great flick, if you haven't seen it.
