It has been hard getting a copy of the St PAuli camofalge one. I am getting the idea that crap kits are having their history wiped out in a Stalinist fashion

Anyway

I am not sure whether I love it or hate it

OGCN Nice are using a "camouflage" "third" this season, with an even more "aggressive" campaign that St. Pauli.

This image (of "hard man" Cyril Rool) is from their official site:

We saw Nice play OL on Saturday, and saw quite a few of these kits on the terraces (where one generally doesn't see too many replica kits in France).

Chelsea's new offering, looks boring to me and that's not even mentioning the c**t in it.

This is a bit strong though. No excuses for standing on Cech's head this year!

No, as mentioned on page one of this thread that kit was good, especially with the standard navy blue shorts. That photo has poor quality colour repro.

The motto on the badge was spelt incorrectly though, which was a shame.

Thought i'd take a look at the umbro site, see if they had any news on our new kit.

Unlikely, as covered on the Walesathon (slight return) it is being made by Champion.

Where's Berbatov then eh?

The now annual kit change.

"To wear is to do" is not only bollocks but has taken the clubs latin motto 'Audere Est Facere', turned it into a dumbed down version for modern times 'To dare is to do' and finally made it into a marketting slogan.

The only thing THFC hasn't 'sold' to date is the stadium name.

Although it is a nice enough kit, Chelsea have fucked it up with the assymetry of those badges. They will win nothing next year and that is the reason why. You read it here first

I might be wrong on this but I am pretty sure that Chelsea are playing in next years kit today. Cech's flourescent orange kit, (shown in a picture previously on this thread) is unmistakeable.

Since when did teams start wearing next years kit in the last game of the Season??

Has any other team done this before? I did find the fact that their kit was announced very early odd. Now i think i have found the reason

It has happened A LOT in the past. Portsmouth are wearing their new away kit today for example.

Shouldn't be allowed.

Maybe its certain manufacturers that do it. I can't ever remember Forest doing it. According to the Forest website our kits still not even been announced and our season finished over a week ago.

It used to happen more than you think;

Spurs

1987 Cup Final

1991 Cup Final

Everton

1989 Cup Final

1995 Cup Final

Liverpool

1985 European Cup Final

All these kits were different from the one worn during the rest of the season

I am amazed it has happened as much as this and thankyou for your input.

However (looking at this pedantically) I must point out that during the years shown above, i notice they are all Cup finals. The FA Cup Final and certainly European Cup Final were normally always staged after the regular league season had finished. As opposed to Chelsea today, where they were in the last league game of the season. ie slightly earlier.
