This looks like a welsh football thread and as good a place as any to laugh at/sympathise with port talbot tonight:

Ooh, that is so close to resurrecting my two hat-tricks in one game thread, but it looks like the final scorer is a different Griffths.

Still, 4-1 up after 36 minutes and still losing by two goals is harsh. How susceptible is the Welsh league to the crooked beakwetting of Asian betting syndicates?

No, the final scorer was indeed Rhys Griffiths - last season's top scorer (40 in 31 league matches and over 50 all told in 07-08) who's already got 13 in 8 this season. Prefers being a fireman to turning professional and is much loved by Kowalski and Co for a forearm smash in last season's Welsh Cup Final!

I went to University with his girlfriend, and he gave me a lift home a couple of times - nice bloke, and always looked like a quality player when I've seen Welsh League highlights on S4C.

He's an Everton fan, as well, but we all have our faults.

Rhys Griffiths is everybody's favourite Fireman-footballer.

After last night WSC's claim that the Bundesliga is the most exciting league is wrong, the most exciting league is obviously the Welsh Premier League.

1) Llanelli 4-1 down then 6-4 up.
2) Bangor ahead thanks to an overhead kick from Chris Sharp (the first one I've ever seen), then Airbus were 2-1 up. Bangor won 3-2.
3) Caernarfon Town 0 Portmadog 2
4) The New Saints 2 GAP Connah's Quay 1

Conclusive proof.

Until there's a YouTube clip of Welsh footballers with straight faces dancing around in brightly-coloured kits, it's Bundesliga all the way I'm afraid.
