Welcome to the new WSC messageboard One Touch Football. We hope your stay here will be long and enjoyable. We have tried to emulate the old OTF board style as far as as possible and hope it will prove to be just as popular, if not more so, than the old board. No doubt there will be some glitches or improvements we can make. Please post any comments here and we'll do what we can. Note we have PM system but there's no PM notification at the moment – we hope to add this shortly.

Registered users can also post comments on the WSC Daily feature and all articles in The Archive.

Perhaps less so now.

The transition is going to be difficult, methinks.

This new layout is going to take a lot of getting used to, to put it mildly.

It really will take some getting used to. The extra colours and graphics around the side make it decidedly less work-friendly too.

I can't believe ursus has 13 posts already.

In the pre-live practice version there was a space to put in a "personal text", which I responded to by asking what it was. That option now seems to have gone, which appears to mean that I will be stuck for eternity with the question "What is personal text?" under my user name.

Christ, what about all the epic 50 page threads, the Lalas, the Walesathon, Furtho's effort? It's a shame they couldn't be transplanted.

It's also a shame the new board is ugly as sin. Ah well, content over style, eh?

The "beta" version appears to have disappeared, but with post counts remaining.

And if you think this one is cluttered and ugly . . .

Don't we have user numbers anymore?

If not, I suppose getting to name your favourite biscuit is more than adequate compensation.

Heh, I'd just spent an hour drafting a post on the old site, clicked Add Reply and saw the red text. I imagine it's floating about in space somewhere. You've all been spared.

The new board doesn't like the apostrophe in my user name, but that's okay as there is no apostrophe on the graffiti it's taken from anyway. It's clever how the computer knows that.

I too fear change.

How much warning are we going to get when the old board is phased out?

As far as I can tell this design is a whole lot less user-friendly. Maybe it is just a question of getting used to it.
