Can those of you moaning about Motson please start your own thread. This is a place to discuss how shit Spurs are, and there's more than enough material as evidence.

Mind you, isn't Motson a Spurs fans?

As you were

motson is a barnet fan, and a very nice man. I'm not going to have you all being mean to him. he bought me a treble vodka and red bull in a jungle nightclub once and I'll forgive him just about anything.

Turn your ire on Jamie-I-suck-footballers-cocks-for-sky's-coins-Redknapp instead. He's much more deserving of your rage.

Once again KoTR comes in and make another snide jab at me.
Ok, so what if i was to post a link to Blackburn Rovers own website in which there was three mentions of david Bentley?
one good cross, one good free kick well saved by Robinson and a miss hit shot that went miles wide?

Would that be good enough, especially when it mentions the constant attacking menace of Lucas Neil and the pace of Pongolle and Bellamy (which was how i remebered that game?)
No doubt someone will mention it has been edited now bently has left.

Actually redders is perhaps the ultimate spurs player. reportedly talented, capable of a nice bit of football now and then, always injured, won only a league cup in a 17 year career, and completely without balls.

The ultimate Spurs player.

Most Motson lames to fame seem to involve booze. He was for a spell a regular in the O's supporters club in the early 90s and rarely left not on the outside of five or six pints.

Oops, sorry for the diversion. Best say something about Spurs: oh well, would take a heart of stone not to laugh.

Although i didn't see the game, you gotta congratulate Hull for coming to North London and taking six points in a week.
Ad Hoc's look-a-like has done a good job.

As for Ramos, I have been somewhat suspicious of him for a while now and think he should go.
there is no excuse for one point in 7 or so games.
Blaming Comoli is a red Herring.

It was only 16 months ago that they had to win at our place on the last day of the season to avoid the drop back to D3.

This, of course, sent Leeds down so they deserve their current success even more.

Spurs lot, could you recommend me a forum or two where the locals could pull a team together (11-a-side) for a match against a Spartak fans' side the evening before the sides meet in the UEFA Cup? Probably play it on some floodlit astro.

I see Pavlyuchenko is out injured for a while. Solves the problem of who to play as the strike partnership, doesn't it? Only Bent and Campbell are available. Unless Ramos decides the fearsome nature of his next opponents, Stoke City, means he can't risk such a cavalier attacking attitude and he opts for only one up. Sky have picked a real plum of a match to show there.

Sash: I think that the biggest Spurs forum is COYS, but they're pretty strict on registration - you could try contacting one of their admins by email.

Also, whilst trying to find out a bit more about the whereabouts of Chris Jones (see the Dean Saunders thread), I found out that the former Spurs goalkeeper Mark Kendall died earlier this year, aged 49, which I found terribly upsetting, as he was one of the trinity of goalkeepers that Spurs had after Pat Jennings left (along with Barry Daines and Milija Aleksic) when I used to go there at the start of the 1980s with my dad.

Motson's not going to South Africa - he's retired from international football.

Thank you very much for the recommendation - I've sent the admins an e-mail. Fingers crossed they'll bother reading it. In the meantime, if anyone else has any suggestions, do share them with me. Ta!

Tonight's Motsonism, Everton took the lead today "on a ground that they haven't won at since 1996!".
