Alan Tomlinson
Alan Tomlinson was born in Burnley and has worked at the University of Brighton since the mid-1970s, cultivating a critical and accessible socio-cultural study of sport. With John Sugden, he has championed the contribution of investigative research on the academic agenda. His contributions to WSC have focused on the politics of national and international football cultures.
